My painting shows an aged man looking out at the fast paced world from his old watch shop, where time itself seems to have come to a standstill.

If you go walking through the streets of Colaba in Mumbai, you will come across old shops like these. It would be perfectly normal to find a shop adjacent to this one, selling digital watches. Even though both sell time, they belong to different centuries.
